Dreams in a Glass Box offers workshops in Burntisland for sewing, stitching, making and mending.
From making clothes that fit and adapt to your body and express your style, to accessories, visible mending and cross-stitch journaling, our classes are all about exploring creativity, reclaiming skills and bringing identity to your creations.
Whether you’re brand new to sewing or already have a few makes under your belt, the workshops give you the skills and confidence to experiment, develop your own style and create things that feel uniquely yours.

SLOW STITCH
SESSIONS
These are one-off hand stitching sessions. Classes encourage you to slow down and cover a range of skills including embroidery and cross stitching. Classes encourage mindfulness, creativity and sustainability.
GARMENT CLASSES
Learn to make a garment from start to finish and ready to wear.
Perfect for those who have completed a Learn to Sew workshop or have some sewing experience. Each class has a clear skill level to help you find the right project to develop your skills, build confidence and explore your own style.

PRIVATE GROUP
EVENTS
Get in touch to organise a private group workshop, whether it’s a work event, a special occasion or simply an excuse to get creative together. Sessions can be tailored to your group.
BEGINNERS: LEARN TO SEW
If you would like to get to grips with a sewing machine and learn the skills you need to eventually make your own clothes, these sessions are for you.
You’ll be taken through the basics in a relaxed way, building your confidence as you go. No previous experience needed, just come ready to have a go!
ONE-TO-ONE
TUITION
I offer one-to-one sewing sessions in the Glass Box, tailored to what you’d like to learn.
From getting to grips with threading and using your machine to making your own garments, sessions can take you through the basics at your own pace.
Already have some sewing experience? I can work on a specific project, tackle something that’s been frustrating you or level up your skills.
